Domestic Flights Can Operate At Full Capacity From Monday

New Delhi:

Domestic airlines can resume passenger operations without any restrictions on capacity – imposed in May last year to guard against the spread of the coronavirus – the government said Tuesday.

However, airlines and airport operators must, the government also said, “ensure guidelines to contain the spread of COVID-19 are strictly adhered to and Covid-appropriate behaviour is strictly enforced during travel”.

In September the government had said passenger capacity on domestic flights could be increased from 72.5 per cent to 85 per cent.
