Telangana arts on focus in London during festivities | India News – Times of India

Hyderabad: Telangana arts and handicrafts like filigree, Siddipet gollabama sarees, Pembarti brass and Nirmal dolls are centre of attraction at the largest Bathukamma festival in Europe, organised by Telangana NRI Forum (TeNF) in London.
Chief guest Rajesh Agarwal, deputy mayor of London, has lauded the promotion of Indian culture and arts at the festival, being celebrated amid the ongoing Dusherra festivities.
British MPs Virendra Sharma and Seema Malhotra, besides Bishnu Bahadur Gurung, mayor of London borough Hounslow, have also lauded the Indian community for keeping alive its traditions and culture, according to Gampa Venugopal, founder-chairman, Telangana NRI Forum.
TeNF president Pramod Anthati Goud, while thanking the participants, called for the promotion of Telangana arts across Europe.
